CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT
Introduction

Our employees
As an equal opportunities employer, it is our aim to create training and employment opportunities that address skills gaps, create opportunities for people facing barriers to employment, tackle workforce inequality and reduce the disability employment gap.
Through supporting diversity, fairness and equal opportunities, we are committed to the continual training and development of our people. HealthTrust Europe employees are appreciated, valued and are given regular feedback to ensure they have a clear understanding of their role and the contribution they make to the business.
The provision of ongoing support and resources for the wellbeing of staff ensures that our colleagues, our customers and our employees are treated with loyalty, respect and dignity through inclusive, non-discriminatory staffing and customer engagement practices. HealthTrust Europe employees are expected to act with integrity towards one another and exercise a high standard of business practice.
Our customers
We strive to make a positive difference through the services we provide, the way we provide them and the way we run the organisation as a whole. HealthTrust Europe builds long term relationships with all customers and other stakeholders by understanding their objectives as they evolve over time and meeting their needs. We adhere to the highest professional and ethical standards and will be honest, open and transparent in all dealings with customers. It is our intention to support opportunities for entrepreneurship and help new, small organisations, supporting economic growth and business creation, whilst also working with established customers to address challenges and ensure continued success.
Our suppliers
HealthTrust Europe has developed a resilient supply chain through our partnerships with suppliers. We understand the importance of compliance and work to achieve the sustainable and mutual development of HealthTrust Europe and our suppliers. Our aim is to create a diverse supply chain to deliver our contracts, including new businesses and entrepreneurs, start-ups, SMEs, VCSEs and mutuals. Wherever possible, HealthTrust Europe endeavours to work with locally based providers. We support innovation throughout the supply chain to deliver lower cost and higher quality goods and services
Working with key suppliers who actively demonstrate our core values of honesty, integrity and fairness and share our ethos in relation to employment practices, quality and environmental controls, with a high regard for human rights in mind is of the utmost importance. We promote ethical and lawful employment and supply chain practices through our Ethics and Compliance Programme and have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, bribery and corruption, which is shared by our suppliers and is communicated to all potential suppliers.
As part of the selection process for every tender, the CSR level for all suppliers and potential suppliers is evaluated and qualified. During engagement we also assess whether there is a sustainable and reliable supply chain in place which takes CSR initiatives into consideration.
Our service providers
HealthTrust Europe is committed to managing climate change through supporting local communities and reducing the environmental impact of sourcing, logistics and distribution practices. We aim to choose providers who share our ethos in relation to employment practices, quality and environmental controls, working with locally based providers whenever possible. This will be communicated to all providers and potential providers.
Our health and safety
Achieving and maintaining the highest standards of health and safety and providing a safe and healthy working environment is paramount for all of our activities. HealthTrust Europe has a current and effective written health and safety policy that is regularly reviewed and updated. This also extends to all partners.
Our environment
In order to fight climate change, an environmental approach and programme has been implemented. HealthTrust Europe has taken and continues to take appropriate steps to mitigate environmental impacts in the performance of our contracts. We continue to investigate ways to deliver additional environmental benefits to influence staff, suppliers, customers and communities in supporting environmental protection and improvements.
