This framework agreement provides a solution for Pathology Referral Testing and Reporting services, including routine testing, toxicology testing, genetic testing, cytology screening and histopathology reporting.

As well as the testing and reporting services, the framework provides sample collection, electronic test requesting and electronic reporting using various methods. All services are in line with appropriate guidelines and accreditations, including ISO 15189.

Radiology Reporting Services

Our Radiology Reporting framework offers high quality reporting services provided competitively and delivered to meet the operational needs of Imaging Departments. Report types include plain films, CT plain films, MRI, comparison / complex and out of hours. Prices offered under the framework vary according to the mix of case work (modality), turnaround time and number of parts under examination. The framework can be access via direct award and offers further volume based discount thresholds.

Point of Care Testing

Our framework for Point of Care Testing offers a comprehensive range of products to include handheld devices, bench-top devices, connected and non-connected devices, as well as consumables and other point of care or near-patient testing products. The framework consists of twelve lots, with the ability to interface with a vendor neutral connectivity solution. Customers can use various financial models, including capital purchase and reagent rental, and form strategic relationships with the suppliers. A Managed Service for Point of Care Devices is also available.

Blood & Specimen Collection Systems and Accessories

Our framework for Blood and Specimen Collection Systems and Accessories provides access to market-leading suppliers that cover the full spectrum of products used to collect these samples, including (but are not restricted to) needles, lancets, tubes, trays/dishes, caps, tourniquets, luer adapters and transfer devices. Determining the appropriate banded price is a quick and simple process providing healthcare providers with a compliant route to market.

Pre-Poured and Bottled Culture Media

Our free-to-access framework offers a compliant route to market for the full provision of pre-poured culture media, bottled culture media, chromogenic media and antibiotic susceptibility testing products, as well as any associated consumables. Each of the appointed suppliers has been rigorously vetted in terms of their quality and value propositions through a robust, compliant evaluation process. We work in collaboration with suppliers to identify and recommend spend reduction opportunities based on several areas such as volume commitment and contract period.
