Where customers have a requirement for products which fall under this category, they can simply contract directly with nominated suppliers appointed to the framework agreement. HTE will provide support to customers before making informed choices, by conducting benchmarking activities to compare existing costs on a like for like and alternative basis. Informed decisions can then be made on the preferred framework suppliers who can meet the customer’s needs. There may also be occasion where products may be subject to trial before adoption if the customer desires to switch to an alternative equivalent.
Call Off Contracts
The call off process is formalised by issuing an order to the supplier identified as offering best value for money. In all instances HTE should be informed once a Trust has entered into a contract with a supplier under this framework agreement. To ensure compliance to the framework agreement a separate order form / access agreement should be exchanged and completed between the Trust and HTE.
