Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Specialist Transport (Pathology and Pharmacy) Services

HealthTrust Europe has launched a new Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Specialist Transport (Pathology and Pharmacy) Services. Healthcare Providers have to navigate many challenges, especially when it comes to temperature-sensitive products. Product damage, temperature control, security and continuity of supply, are just some of the issues that can cause problems when transporting Pharmaceutical and Controlled Drugs, Diagnostic Specimens, and Infectious or Biological Substances. In an increasingly regulated environment, our DPS offers a secure and compliant solution for specialist transportation requirements.

Key products and services include the following, split into 2 lots:

• Lot 1: Specialist Transport Services for Infectious Substances, Diagnostic Specimens and Other Biological Substances (Pathology)
• Lot 2: Pharmaceutical and Controlled Drugs Specialist Transport Services (Pharmacy)

Our DPS provides access to our customers to pre-approved service providers via mini competition. We will support customers with the development of the Call for Competition Bid Pack and specification to issue to admitted service providers.
