HealthTrust Europe Pathology Partnership with PathLAKE Plus nominated for two prestigious Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards!

Partnerships are at the heart of everything we do, and we are delighted our collaborative work to improve patient care has been recognised.

The HTE & PathLake Plus pathology project has been nominated for two partnership awards at the 2024 Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards:

🔸 Diagnostic Project of the Year
🔸 Most Effective Contribution to Improving Cancer Outcomes

The project aim is upscaling the digital pathology and AI capabilities of NHS labs across 1/3 of England by March 2024.

PathLake Plus Project Manager, Dr Andrew White said: ”

“Whilst we’ve always been proud of the achievements of PathLAKE Plus, to have our efforts recognised through our shortlisting for these awards is an immense honour. PathLAKE Plus has been instrumental in ensuring that all patients across a 1/3 of England will experience the benefits of using digital pathology and AI in cellular pathology pathways; through reduced reporting times, faster interventions and improved patient outcomes. Not only that but PathLAKE Plus has paved the way for the use of AI in cancer diagnostics in cellular pathology, meaning that the true impact of PathLAKE Plus will be felt for decades to come.”
