HealthTrust Europe Achieves ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Certification for Information Security

HealthTrust Europe (HTE) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, the internationally recognised standard for information security management. This milestone reflects HTE’s focus on protecting information, managing risk effectively and maintaining robust security practices across the organisation.

Awarded by ISOQAR following an independent assessment process, the certification confirms that HTE’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) meets internationally recognised standards for safeguarding information and supporting continual improvement.

ISO 27001 complements HTE’s existing Cyber Essentials Plus and NHS DSPT assurances. Together, these certifications demonstrate both strong technical cyber security controls and a mature organisational approach to information security, governance and risk management.

The certification covers HealthTrust Europe’s sourcing of equipment, supplies and services, as well as the development and operation of digital applications for public and private sector organisations.

For customers, suppliers and partners, ISO 27001 provides assurance that information is managed securely, responsibly and in line with recognised best practice. It further supports HTE’s focus on trust, governance and operational excellence.

This marks an important step in HTE’s information security journey and further strengthens the foundations that support the secure delivery of services across the organisations and communities we serve.

It has also been a truly collaborative effort, made possible by the dedication and expertise of colleagues from across HealthTrust Europe. We would like to thank everyone involved in supporting this journey. From developing and embedding new processes to strengthening our approach to information security, this milestone reflects the power of teamwork and a shared focus on continuous improvement.
