Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust Selects HealthTrust Europe as its GPO

Birmingham, England – 23 August 2017 – HealthTrust Europe (HTE) is delighted to announce that Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust has agreed to participate in HealthTrust Europe’s Group Purchasing Organisation (GPO).

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is the UK’s fourth largest acute teaching NHS Trust, operating across three sites and serving a population of 2.5million people across the East Midlands. With over 1,700 beds and more than 15,000 staff, the Trust now has access to a range of clinically-led purchasing options that deliver high quality and clinically acceptable products including the HealthTrust Europe GPO model.

Tony Stanyard, Head of Procurement at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, said that, having a national reputation for specialist services, including stroke and neurosciences, they needed a range of purchasing options whose focus was ultimately on patient care.
