Contract Overview
HealthTrust Europe is offering a new framework for the provision of Pressure Area Care Equipment and Associated Services.
The framework will allow for customers to access both product and service requirements within each Lot.
- This framework offers the flexibility of having the direct award option.
- The inclusion of the provision of services within each product lot.
- Provisions for renting and rent-to-buy terms have also been included within the Framework agreement.

Lot 7 – Fluid Simulation Systems and Air Fluidised Systems

Lot 8 – Hybrid Pressure Reducing Mattresses
• Powered redistribution hybrid replacement mattress
• Mattresses for both acute and community sector
• Associated Products
Lot 9 – Cushions, Support Aids and Associated Products
• Static foam and gel cushions
• Dynamic cushions – alternating, full seat and
lumber cushions
• Heel protectors
• Leg trough
• Products which complement the use of other
equipment in the treatment/prevention of pressure sores.

Lot 11 – Patient Handling
• Hoists / Patient Lifts
• Standing Aids (both manual and electric)
• Bathing Equipment
• Transfer Equipment (Slings, Slide Sheets, Inflatable Devices)
• Provision of clinical patient handling consultancy
Key services, included in each Lot, where applicable, include:
• Decontamination

• Annual Maintenance Cover
• Planned Preventative Maintenance
• Managed Service
• Auditing
