Contract Overview

HealthTrust Europe is offering a new framework for the provision of Pressure Area Care Equipment and Associated Services.

The framework will allow for customers to access both product and service requirements within each Lot.

  • This framework offers the flexibility of having the direct award option.
  • The inclusion of the provision of services within each product lot.
  •  Provisions for renting and rent-to-buy terms have also been included within the Framework agreement.

Lot 1 – Medical Beds

• Hospital ward beds, low height beds, floor level beds, paediatric beds,
• Community beds for care home and out of hospital use
• Infant cots/cribs
• Junior beds
• Profiling beds

Lot 2 – Specialist Beds

• Critical care beds
• Rotational/turning/lateral tilt therapy beds
• Standing upright beds
• Birthing beds

Lot 3 – Patient Trolleys

• Patient Trolleys
• Emergency Department Trolleys

Lot 4 – Bariatric Equipment

• Bariatric hospital ward beds, profiling beds and
community beds
• Static foam and alternating mattresses
• Dynamic seat, foam, and gel cushions
• Bariatric grab bar bed loop
• Bariatric patient helper and triangle
• Bariatric bed extension
• Bariatric side rails
• Bariatric chairs
• Bariatric Wheelchairs
• Bathing Equipment
• Mobility Products
• Provision of clinical patient handling consultancy
• Risk assessment and recommendation
implementation
• Planning and Project managements of refurb,
rebuild/new build projects

Lot 5 – Dynamic Mattresses

• Alternating pressure replacement/overlay
• Continuous low-pressure replacement/overlay
• Mattresses for both the acute and community sector

Lot 6 – Static Mattresses

• Standard foam, memory foam and gel mattress
• Mattresses for both the acute and community sector

Lot 7 – Fluid Simulation Systems and Air Fluidised Systems

• Air Fluidised Mattress Systems
• Fluid Simulating Mattresses Systems

Lot 8 – Hybrid Pressure Reducing Mattresses

• Powered redistribution hybrid replacement mattress
• Mattresses for both acute and community sector
• Associated Products

Lot 9 – Cushions, Support Aids and Associated Products

• Static foam and gel cushions
• Dynamic cushions – alternating, full seat and
lumber cushions
• Heel protectors
• Leg trough
• Products which complement the use of other
equipment in the treatment/prevention of pressure sores.

Lot 10 – Pressure Relieving Chairs

• Pressure Relieving Chairs
• Associated Products

Lot 11 – Patient Handling

• Hoists / Patient Lifts
• Standing Aids (both manual and electric)
• Bathing Equipment
• Transfer Equipment (Slings, Slide Sheets, Inflatable Devices)
• Provision of clinical patient handling
consultancy

• Planning and Project managements of refurb, rebuild/new build projects.
