Contract Overview

The scope of this framework is to provide a one stop shop solution for customers who wish to procure wholesaler distribution services for a wide range of frequently used products The comprehensive framework encompasses an extensive portfolio of categories, offering solutions that span the entire range of frequently procured products and services. By consolidating these diverse categories under one umbrella, the framework enables organisations to streamline procurement processes while ensuring all their supply and logistics needs are met efficiently and effectively. The Framework Agreement provides an easy access route for customers to contract and The broad scope of the framework covers medical products, facilities management products, essential operational supplies and routinely procured items.

Customers will also have access to a marketplace as well as the potential for a managed service which provides social value and supply chain efficiencies through end-to-end supply chain management, including logistics, inventory, and delivery coordination.

The Framework Agreement is designed to help mitigate stock shortages by offering contingency options and multi-drop logistics networks. This supports initiatives like Hospital at Home and community care.

Our objective is to help public sector bodies and NHS Trusts consolidate fragmented, low-value purchases into a single, compliant route which provides demonstratable savings. This strategy improves spend visibility, reduces administrative burden, and enhances value for money.

Clinical support and training (where applicable) as all suppliers under the framework provide lifetime clinical support, technical advice, and training at no extra cost. This ensures safe and effective product use across healthcare setting

The Framework Agreement is set-up against the following Lots to enable the supply of end-to-end

Lot 1 – Supply of goods and services – The scope of this lot is for Participating Authorities to have access to a lot including distribution, stocking and management of an agreed portfolio.

Lot 2 – Marketplace – The scope of this lot will facilitate an online marketplace(s) that manages all sales or can be a platform where multiple third-party sellers can sell directly to Participating Authorities.

Lot 3 – Managed Service – The scope of this lot will facilitate Managed Services. These services can provide a wide range of functions including but not limited to:

  1. Transportation Management
  2. Warehousing and Distribution
  3. Order Fulfilment:
  4. Inventory Management:
  5. Freight and Customs Brokerage
  6. Supply Chain Planning and Consulting
  7. Technology Integration
  8. Risk Management
  9. Returns Management

Lot 4 – Aggregated lot – (i) Lot 4 enables Participating Authorities to tailor bespoke products and service to accommodate their requirements and contractually commit in advance to purchasing a specified value and/or volume of their requirements.
